The MRT series – Tuas Link (EW33)

Just as Pasir Ris (here) was the other end, here we are too at the western tip. Here too is Raffles marina with all the expensive yachts moored, waiting for their owners to come and bring them out… heheh.

Now the iconic thing to do is walking up to the marina area (its open to the public) and get to the Johore straits lighthouse. It used to be functional until the 1990s but no longer. It is also the only lighthouse not managed by the Maritime authorities of our little red dot.

Across the water is literally Malaysia’s state of Johore. So close that one can actually try to swim across. Good luck trying though, because it is heavily policed. The second link would probably be a better bet.
